THANKS FOR A GREAT YEAR, CHAPEL FAMILY

It has been incredible to see God move through our church in 2017. We have had a chance to bless kids all year long and help them come alive to God. We stepped into marriages that are hurting and broken and restored hope. We literally have been the hands and feet of God to the poor and marginalized in our community. This holiday season, over 10,000 families will be blessed with gifts and meals across all our campuses. This past summer, we partnered with Samaritan’s Purse and Convoy of Hope to provide relief to victims of the flooding locally and nationwide. We were able to bless our brothers and sisters at Grace Community Bible Church with a new stage and lighting as their building was destroyed by flooding. We were able to bless kids with scholarships to attend summer camp. We funded a new Hispanic church plant in Joliet and supported over 20 mission partners across the globe. God’s Kingdom is breaking through and we have much to be thankful for as 2017 comes to a close.

The end of the year is our most significant time for giving, as 25% of our annual donations come in during the last three weeks of the year. There are many ways you can participate with us and partner with what God is doing through your giving:

The 90-Day Tithing Challenge

In March, 308 families across our Chapel campuses took the 90-Day Tithing Challenge. The 90-Day Challenge was an opportunity to experience God and his faithfulness in one of the hardest areas of life to surrender – our finances.  The challenge consisted of giving to God, through The Chapel, a tithe equal to 10% of household income for a period of 90 days.
