It’s out of gratitude for that transformation that we give back to him – with our time, our talents, our relationships and our finances. God has modeled true generosity for us. He has given us all that we have and asked us to manage it wisely. It is our prayer that we will be a church known for true generosity – a church full of people who are striving to be more like God.

Contributing Appreciated Property
A vast majority of gifts to The Chapel are in the form of checks or cash. However, an alternative gift method is to donate “appreciated property.” This property can be stocks, corporate or treasury bonds, mutual fund shares, real estate, or other items of value. There are many benefits to this form of giving. This letter will review the benefits of donating appreciated financial assets such as stocks.
The Chapel works very hard to ensure we are doing everything possible to properly manage the financial resources that God has entrusted to us. We are a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, an agency that helps Christian organizations develop and maintain God-honoring, ethical, standards of financial accountability. We also invest in an annual audit performed by an independent certified public accounting firm. When you give back to God through The Chapel, you can trust your money will be handled responsibly. Any general financial questions should be directed to Katie Price, The Chapel’s Director of Finance and Administration.
All credit card and bank transactions are handled through a secure third party merchant processing company. Please note that The Chapel absorbs credit card processing fees for all credit card transactions. If you would like the church to receive the full donation amount, please choose to pay directly from your checking account which does not deduct any fees.
