We are on a mission to celebrate motherhood within circles of women who love each other like family, because raising children is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. We meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of being a mom. Join us October 2017 through May 2018 as we connect over hot Hansa coffee, warm breakfast, and uninterrupted adult conversation. You will experience encouraging, equipping, inspiring speakers and creative activities. Your kids will enjoy story time, snacks, crafts, and playtime with loving caregivers. Moms of newborns through 5th graders are welcome to register.

*The cost is $65 for Fall/Winter (collected at registration) 
and $35 for Spring (collected at the 1st meeting in March). There is a separate Mops International registration fee of $35. Childcare cost is included in the dues.

MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers

In December, there will only be one meeting (Dec. 12); and in March the dates are changed (Mar. 13 & 20, but not Mar. 27).

Are you a mom? Do you ever feel like you’ve gone days without speaking to another adult? Are you having a hard time with your kiddo at this stage? This is the community for you! We are moms of little ones who do life together. Come join us for two hours twice a month. You will enjoy a DELICIOUS homemade breakfast, uninterrupted adult conversation, and a schedule that alternates between a speaker and a craft. While you’re enjoying community with other moms of preschoolers, your kiddo will enjoy a story, snack, and play time with child care providers. Come on out and see what you think!

Registration is $30, $35 after May 28.
Group dues are $110 if you pay in full, or $60 due in September and $60 due in November.

What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. We are on a mission to celebrate motherhood. We build circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own cities, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of being a mom. This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways.

What happens at a MOPS meeting?
Moms will get to have a delicious buffet breakfast, enjoy either a speaker on relevant topics or a practical craft that even the least crafty can complete, and partake in adult conversations with moms in their community, all while their children are well taken care of in our child care program called MOPPETS.

How much does it cost?
The total cost for MOPS at The Chapel Grayslake is $155 (although you can save up to $15 with our special offers). After May 28th, registration costs $35. The last day to register is July 28th. Our group dues of $120 are split into two $60 payments in Sept and December. There is a pay-in-full special in the month of August for $110. How do I join MOPS at The Chapel Grayslake?
Registration for the 2017/2018 season is closed (at the Grayslake Campus).

Who can be in MOPS?
MOPS is open for ALL mothers of children from birth through kindergarten (5 or 6 years old).

What will we discuss?
The topics very from year to year but they can range anywhere from photography, fashion, dinner prep to marriage, friendship, technology for children. All topics are relevant and something that every mom wonders about, needs help with, could learn about, or struggles with.

Where will my children go?
While we meet our children will be in MOPPETS with our child care providers. All child care providers have had background checks and interviewed for their positions. The children will enjoy their very own program with a story, craft and snack time.

Moms of all ages are welcome to register. Childcare will be available for kids 6 months through 1st grade.

The cost is $75 for the year if you register before October 10th ($105 after). Childcare cost is an additional $30 for the year.
