Going To The Chapel

On behalf of The Chapel, we want to congratulate you on your recent engagement and thank you for considering us for your wedding ceremony! We believe that a wedding ceremony should be a Christ-centered celebration of two people being united by God.

If you would like to host your wedding at The Chapel, we would love to make that happen. Unfortunately, demand for our venues is often greater than their availability, so we reserve the use of our facilities for those who have made The Chapel their church home. If you do not yet attend The Chapel, we invite you to come and experience God here for yourself.

The wedding and its preparation should be done in a way that will bring honor and glory to him. As such, we ask that you attend a pre-marital study and mentoring program (or a comparable marriage preparation experience as approved by the officiating pastor). We offer our Becoming One pre-marital study multiple times per year. The next session will be held Sept. 15 – Nov. 3, 2017. To register, visit our events page.

Becoming One is an interactive and educational study for engaged couples desiring to establish a biblical foundation for marriage. Each individual will complete an enrichment assessment for engaged couples, which will specifically reference areas of strength and growth. Each couple will be assigned to an experienced marriage mentor couple with whom they will meet several times outside of the regular workshop. The workshop topics include: God’s design for marriage, family of origin, mentoring, communication, conflict and character, honoring God with finances, intimacy, marriage expectations and celebration. For questions or to indicate interest in our Becoming One study, please e-mail becomingone@chapel.org. ALL individuals should complete this questionnaire prior to attending the first Becoming One session.

If you have any questions about scheduling a wedding at The Chapel or would like more information please contact Alyssa Korinek at akorinek@chapel.org.
