Do we have to have the conversation about purity and wholeness? Chicken Bowl was set up for fathers and sons to have a crucial conversation about purity and wholeness, as we believe it is important as young people navigate a broken and fallen world. With that said, we encourage fathers or father figures to make their own decision around what is best for their son(s) when it comes to the topic of purity and pornography. We will speak to the topic directly in a message by our staff prior to the tournament and we will provide a conversation guide for you to utilize if you would like.

How is the tournament organized? There will be 3 tournaments for different age brackets.
• 4th-6th Grade
• 7th-9th Grade
• 10th-12th Grade

What is being served for lunch? We will be catering in a meal from Chick-Fil-A, which will consist of a chicken sandwich, chips and a cookie. If you have any food allergies, please note this during your registration and we will do our best to accommodate.

How many people on a team and how are they organized? A team shall consist of a maximum of 8 players on the field at one time. We will take teammate requests during the registration into consideration, but we will organize most teams by the campus you attend and the age of the student being registered.

How are fields laid out? We will have 6 half-fields that are 35 yards in length. Teams will start from the 25 yard line and attempt to score in a standard 10 yard end-zone.

What should I wear? Come dressed in whatever clothes you would normally play flag football in. We recommend athletic pants or shorts, t-shirt, sweatshirt, closed-toed shoes, socks, sunglasses.

What if our family members want to watch us? The more the merrier! There will be multiple spaces along the fields for cheerleading squads to assemble!
