Reconstruction - Week 1

Many of us have been told that science disproves God or that faith requires abandoning our intellect. But that’s simply not true. Historically, some of the greatest pioneers of science—Copernicus, Newton, and Galileo—were devout Christians who believed that God created an orderly universe worth studying. The more we learn about the complexity of life, the fine-tuning of the universe, and the sheer impossibility of everything coming together by accident, the more clearly we see that there is a Creator.

Advancements in fields like molecular biology and astrophysics reveal intricate layers of design, from the microscopic complexity of a single cell to the precise calibration of the stars. The odds of life happening by random chance aren’t just low—they are impossibly small, mathematically impossible without intelligent design. You don’t have to be afraid of asking questions or of what science might uncover. Rather than pushing us away from faith, true scientific discovery invites us into deeper wonder and awe of the one who made it all.
