Living the Dream - Week 3

Hope is powerful. When we have it, we can navigate the most challenging circumstances with courage and purpose. When we lose it, even the smallest tasks feel impossible. Without hope, it’s hard to believe the best about others or ourselves. We can easily spiral into bitterness or cynicism. But real hope, the kind that brings life to your soul, doesn’t come from perfect circumstances. It comes from God’s presence being with us.

Joseph’s story is a powerful picture of this. God gave him dreams of a future where he would rise in influence and be set apart, but those dreams didn’t unfold the way he might have expected. He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison. Still, through every setback, Joseph stayed connected to God. He listened. He trusted. And over time, God used every chapter of Joseph’s life to accomplish something far greater than anyone could see at the time.

Wherever you are today, whether you’re overwhelmed, uncertain, or hurting, God has not left you. He is closer than you think. You don’t have to figure everything out. Simply stay faithful, stay connected, and hold on to the hope that only he can bring.
