Called - The Women Jesus Knew - Part 5
Worship is about giving our hearts fully, even when it is messy or costly. The woman who poured her expensive perfume on Jesus held nothing back. Every part of her, including her resources, her dignity, and her life, was poured out as she broke the jar in an act of love. Her tears, her boldness, and her extravagant devotion revealed what she valued most, and Jesus called it beautiful. True worship is not about appearances or comfort; it is about surrendering all we are to Him.
Her sacrifice reminds us that worship costs, but it also honors God. While others saw waste, Jesus saw a heart fully devoted. When we pour out our lives in love, gratitude, and obedience, we mirror the kind of devotion He desires. Worship is more than words or songs; it’s living with our hearts and hands open, trusting God enough to give our very best, no matter how messy or vulnerable it may feel.
