Jesus Unfiltered - Sad
Jesus was no stranger to sorrow. Isaiah calls him a “man of sorrows.” In John 11, we see Jesus grieving the death of Lazarus. When Martha questions why he didn’t intervene, Jesus declares, “I am the resurrection and the life,” yet she struggles to understand his words. Later, Jesus weeps with Mary and the mourners. Though he knows he will raise Lazarus, he still grieves—showing both divine power and deep compassion. He is a King who walks in power yet understands our sadness and weeps with his people.
