Please pray that God would deliver me from depression and restore my joy in Him. Pray that God would help me in everything I do (including my new job opportunity). Pray that God would heal me and heal my life. Finally pray that God’s peace and strength would be in my life.

I am really struggling this summer. It has been so hard for me to connect with God, especially because I have never worked as much as I have this summer and had so little time to myself. It also has been really hard because I lost my grandpa this summer and he passed away in my house while he was visiting with my grandma. I feel like I barely even have time to process my emotions sometimes. I know it’s not an excuse because all it takes is setting aside 2 minutes a day but I’ve been so bad at doing it. I also have not made nearly as much money this summer compared to last summer because this new job I’m at pays a lot less but I’m worried because I have this mission trip coming up in January that I’m trying to support raise for but I have only raised $300 out of the $1300. I feel called to this trip, but I’m not sure why it’s been so difficult for me to raise funds; actually, I do, but it’s mostly because I have a hard time asking people for money. I know that money is a sensitive subject for many people, just as it is for me, but I also know that I can’t just sit around and wait for money to come to me so I just feel lost becuase I don’t understand if I’m feeling called to this trip why I’m having such a hard time. Overall, I’ve felt overwhelmed this summer, and my mental health hasn’t been great, so I’m just struggling and in need of some prayer.

I am requesting prayer for my aunt, she is undergoing surgery for breast cancer today and she needs prayers of healing. I pray also that the doctors and insurance approve a double mastectomy to eliminate all risk of more harm to her body. Amen
