Christmas Outreach at The Chapel

Giving Christmas Store

On Dec. 15th from 6:30pm-8:30pm our Grayslake Campus will partner with Ellis Elementary School for the annual Giving Christmas Store. You can pick up an ornament today in the lobby. Each ornament lists a child’s age and gender and a request for a $10 – 20 gift . Return the gift with the ornament by Dec. 10th. You can also sign up to serve at the Giving Christmas Store. Contact Brian Peetoom today!

Community Care Center

During Christmas time, our Community Care Center is able to support 350 – 700 people who are in need. We supply them with hats, gloves & coats, personal items, gift cards, and toys donated from our Chapel family.

Operation Christmas Child

Our McHenry, Palatine, and Lake Zurich campuses are participating in Operation Christmas Child this year. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to over 146 million children in more than 100 countries. Check with your campus pastor for deadlines to drop off a shoe box!

Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is on the weekends of Nov 18/19, 25/26, Dec 2/3, Dec 9/10 and Dec 16/17 at our Libertyville Campus. Pick an ornament off the tree and support our Domestic Missions ministries and the communities that they serve. Contact Lynn Clay for more information.

Toys for Tots

Our Lake Zurich campus will be hosting a Toys for Tots drive! Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. Check with Dave Thompson for more information!

Angel Tree

During the weekends of Nov 18/19, 25/26 and Dec 2/3 the Libertyville Campus will have their Angel Tree as a way to serve the children of incarcerated men and women in Lake County. Pick an Angel off the tree and give a present to a child in the name of the incarcerated individual. It is part of the Giving Tree. Contact Lynn Clay for more information.
