Jamie Wamsley

Associate Senior Pastor/Campus Pastor

Jamie Wamsley serves as the Associate Senior Pastor of The Chapel and our Grayslake Campus Pastor. Jamie graduated with a degree in business from Indiana University in 1995 and served in a Mexican orphanage before joining The Chapel’s staff team in 1997. He and his wife Tracey, who have been married since 2002, have five children; Jimmy, Toby, Samantha, Andy, and Charlie. They are big fans of all types of pizza, long outdoor hikes, the Chicago Bears, and discovering new kinds of adventures together.

What Jamie has to say about the Chapel Grayslake:

The Chapel Grayslake is a large church family that feels small because of a warmth and care for people. Visiting this campus, you’ll find a diverse group of people who are passionate about experiencing God’s presence and love to be together. We are also a church committed to being a force for good in our community. From our efforts in local schools to our Community Care Center, we are seeing hundreds of lives impacted in tangible ways every week.

Join us this SUNDAY at 9AM and 11AM for a time of worship, teaching from God’s word and fellowship.

God intended for us to live our lives with other followers of Christ! Join a Kingdom Community to find a group of friends who are ready to run hard after God together!

Chapel Kids is the children’s ministry at The Chapel. It is our desire to partner with parents to raise up children that carry the Christianity of Jesus, pray heaven to Earth, are a force for good and belong to the greater kingdom community. We currently offer Chapel Kids on Sundays at 9AM & 11AM for kids six weeks old to 5th grade. Weekly lessons are also available online!

Chapel Students is for students grades 6-12. Our student ministry is designed to help your student come alive to God and learn how to live an all-in life as a follower of Christ.

Chapel Students meets every Wednesday at The Chapel Grayslake from 7:00-8:45PM.
