Here is a story that radiated hope from a family that currently worships with us via our Online Community. Below is an email that we got from the family.
“Hi! I just wanted to share with you the wonderful things happening in our family this year thanks to The Chapel. Since COVID, my mom, stepdad and sister have been joining us for online services. Prior to Covid, they attended in-person a couple times each year, but never came regularly. Now, they rarely miss a week. After each service, we get on Zoom and chat about what the message meant to each of us. Late this summer, after a message on repentance and baptism my stepdad asked my husband if he could be baptized in our backyard pool. At that point, my sister chimed in that she wanted to be baptized also.
On August 29th, as we celebrated my mom’s birthday, six of my family members were baptized at our home: My stepdad, two sisters, brother-in-law, and two nieces. What a glorious day it was!”
We are thankful for stories like these that show the testament of God’s sovereignty and workings that go beyond the walls of our Church. Our desire is that you encounter God at our services, whether it be in-person or online; to experience His presence, have a revelation of who He is, and breakthrough from bondage. We are thankful that even in the midst of the many unfoldings of 2020, God’s word is spread and lives are impacted through our Online Community. If you or someone that you know needs a place of community and Church, please visit our online community for our Sunday services and other online offerings.
If you have a story, we’d love to hear it. Email comms@chapel.org to send your story.
