Becoming One is an interactive and educational study for engaged couples, and couples who are dating and exploring getting married, who desire to establish a biblical foundation for marriage. This study, based on Christian principles, will help you understand God’s design for your marriage whether you’re exploring marriage for the first time or have been married before. Each individual will complete the Prepare/Enrich assessment, which will provide information on specific areas of strength and growth. Each couple will be assigned to an experienced marriage mentor couple with whom they will meet several times outside of regular workshop time to assist in interpreting assessment results.

Cost is $65 per couple and includes lunch on Saturday. Only one registration needed per couple.

The 5 Love Languages

The 5 Love Languages
Marriage Enrichment Study
Mondays Sept. 18-Nov. 6
7-9 p.m.
Hosted at the Libertyville Campus
Open to all married couples

This study will center around the book “The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts” by Gary Chapman. Between busy schedules and long days, expressing love can fall by the wayside. We forget to compliment, to give gifts “just because,” to linger in our loved one’s embrace. The things that say “I love you” seem either to not get said or not get through. This is a study about saying it—and hearing it—clearly. No gimmicks. No psychoanalyzing. Just learning to express love in your spouse’s language.

The concept of the Five Love Languages has transformed countless relationships. Its ideas are simple and conveyed with clarity and humor, making this study practical and personable. You’ll be inspired by real-life stories and encouraged by its commonsense approach. Applying it will forever change your relationship—starting today.

$20 per couple

Childcare is available at a cost of $20 for 1 child; $30 for 2 children; and $40 for 3 or more children.

No class on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 9
